Global Health Associate
Kyra Sarazen supports all three Tellus mater divisions conducting desk and literature reviews, contributing to assessment and research methodology and is part of the Global Health team. She is an early career global health equity advocate with particular interest in scaling midwifery services around the world. Kyra is currently completing an Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program at the University of Miami, will graduate in May 2024 and has been accepted into a doctoral program in nursing. Prior to beginning her nursing studies, Kyra lived in Tomasik, Haiti as a part of a Global Health Fellowship Program where she supported community health projects and operations at a small clinic. After returning to the US at the onset of the pandemic, Kyra went on to work for Partners In Health, first as a part of the COVID-19 response and later as a Program Manager on the Nursing & Midwifery Team. Kyra graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2019 with a BA in Neuroscience and Behavior. While at Notre Dame, Kyra was a member of the varsity swim team and served as team captain her senior year. Kyra currently lives in South Florida and in her free time, she loves running, hiking, and spending time in the mountains.
